Images are almost up from Double Threat’s show last night at the House of Rock Live. I went light, carrying a Canon EOS 60D (great high ISO noise reduction) and three Sigma fast prime lenses (85mm f/1.4, 20 mm f/1.8, and 50mm f/1.4). Most of the images were shot with ambient stage lighting at ISO 3200 with a little sharpening and noise reduction in Adobe Lightroom 3. (Tom, if you are reading this, a little extra white (tungsten) light at stage front would be awesome!) Everytime I visit House of Rock, the stage and lighting gets better and better.
Thanks again to Floyd for inviting me out to shoot the band. I always enjoy their high energy performances and usually come away with some memorable shots from their shows!
